SPEAKER_02Starting off, we're gonna talk about VincyMas, because we have some fresh, well, at the time of recording anyway, some fresh results to discuss. And it isn't the regular dagger people that want. Well, I mean it is, but it isn't also. So there's some new names up there, I think.

Time-Travel Check-In From Saint Lucia
SPEAKER_02And I think now it is time to do something we have not done before. Because we're gonna do a little bit of time traveling. So we're gonna talk about St. Lucia, and to be completely honest with the audience, at the time of recording, St. Lucia didn't even happen yet. But not yet. For from my perspective, currently, we're gonna jump in the future and we're gonna listen to future shards, and for the people listening to past shorts, who's actually in St. Lucia, and she's gonna explain to us what the score is.

SpiceMas Dates And Season Preview
SPEAKER_02And then last but unleash, and now we are moving further and further in the future, but we also need to just briefly mention SpiceMas.

SPEAKER_02Will Grenada stand out like they did last year? I have a feeling they're not letting go. I mean, you know me, I'm I'm a job man. So I'm excited.
SPEAKER_03Yep.
SPEAKER_02Even though I won't be there, I'm excited. So I have high hopes. I'm curious to what we'll be releasing. Uh I see a lot of uh things being released already right now. Yeah, I'm excited. It's a big choosing.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, we'll see, man. So Spice Mask, well, Carnival Monday and Tuesday is the 10th and the 11th of August. Forgot to mention St. Lucia Carnival, the two carnival days is the 20th and the 21st of July. Yep. Um, but obviously, future me will probably tell you that. But anyway, so yeah, so in our August episode, we will discuss the cropover results and we will also discuss the results from Spice Mask because Kadument Day is on the 3rd of August this year.

Belgium Festival Plans And Artist Hopes
SPEAKER_02100%. Around that time, between Cropover and SpiceMass, we have something in little Europe and specifically Belgium is Antwianse Faced Up.

SPEAKER_02This is where international DJ Charles will be performing once again. So obviously, we need to be there. It is my one yearly outage of being in a place where they play some soca. So I'm gonna be there, and I'm probably not gonna be drunk because I'm driving, but I in spirit I'll be drunk, but yes.
SPEAKER_03That's fine, that's fine. All I want is your presence, that is it.
SPEAKER_02And all I want is we're gonna try to interview either Neither Black Man or GBM. That's what I want. And just just FYI, if it is gonna be GBM, I'll be fangirdling the shit out of myself. But uh for goodness sake. Oh, yeah, you know, you use it already.

I have to come home, drop off my suitcase, my big one, because I'm not taking a big suitcase to Belgium. Then I have to basically pack my small suitcase and then head straight to St. Pancras, King's Cross St Pancras Station, so I can get my train to Brussels in the afternoon.

SPEAKER_03So, yeah, then a long drive.
SPEAKER_02I was gonna say it's not there yet.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, I know. A long drive to um what is it? Ho Hoogstraat?
SPEAKER_02Yes, uh but not even there. No, actually, true. It's it's it's somewhere there. I'm staying in Breda nowhere. Yeah, exactly.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. So um I'm actually staying in the Netherlands, people. In the Netherlands, but the festival is in Belgium.
SPEAKER_02Exactly.
SPEAKER_03But yeah, I don't think I'm gonna have time to even go to the hotel. I might have to just go straight to the festival, literally, with my my suitcase and we'll be waiting for you. Kes World Tour And Big Wins

SPEAKER_02Of course, yeah, yeah, yeah. So two years ago was his face.

SPEAKER_02Oh yeah, that one. Yeah. Anyway, two years ago, Kess was on the stage. And Kess this year is not entirely unsuccessful. He went on a flipping world tour.

SPEAKER_02You know, I love how like Marcel and Kess are like they're bettering each other every single time, right? It's like Marshall does a tie in desk concert. You know what? Kess does it all. Uh by the way, good point. He recently said that. Um, he wins uh road march, then Kess wins this, and you know, does a world tour. It's amazing. So uh good news for the world of Soka. Um I think it's still ongoing, but I obviously Kes will now more and more be in the Caribbean because of the current season, you know.
